A visit to the second Bahrain Airshow on Thursday 19th January, held over three days at Sakhir Airbase. Guest of honour was Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Maktoum, who arrived with other royals in the first A380 to land on the island. The Emirates had brought their Al Fursan display team as well as the F-16 and Mirage 2000 for display. A surprise in the static was the first RSAF Typhoon to appear at an airshow.
