Pictures taken around the UK in August 2011, starting with more time spent at Brize Norton. As well as more shots of the resident RAF classics, others of interest were the Volga Dnepr An-124, the World Cargo MD-11 and the classic ETPS Andover, visiting for a touch and go on return home to Boscombe Down. East Midlands was then called in on the way home, with good timing to catch the Saudi Cargo/Veteran Avia B747-200 landing, as well as the ABX Air B767-300, which were becoming regulars.
Heading back down South a week later, East Midlands, Birmingham, Kemble, Brize Norton, Woodley and Heathrow were all visited, before heading over to the States. East Mids had provided the new TNT B777F, while Birmingham provided a couple of nice smaller cargo aircraft. Highlight of a good visit to Kemble was the DC-3 being restored with Indian AF markings, with Brize then providing a few nice aircraft at the 'Party in the Park' Families Day. Despite the grimey weather, highlight was VC-10 C1K XV105/V performing a flypast, before being retired ten days later. Visitors included the Volga Dnepr AN-124 and Air Finland B757 OH-AFL in basic Allegiant colours, both on MOD charters. The Berkshire Aviation Museum was then visited, for the first production Herald, with G-APWA now restored into BEA colours. Finally on to Heathrow, for the flight out to the US, with a few shots before check in, as well as on the way back through a week later.
