Every November brings a chance to visit Dubai International Airport (DXB) for an airshow, alternating between the main Dubai International Airshow and the MEBA (Middle East Business Aviation) show. 2011 was to be the final year for this, with plans to move the shows to the new Al Maktoum International (DWC), starting from next year, with the 2012 MEBA show being the first to be hosted at the new venue. So, with this being the last chance to catch one of the shows at DXB, which also offered very good photographic opportunities of the variety of regular airport movements on the runways close by, three days were spent at the airshow this year, from 15th-17th November.
