Canada & USA May-June 2008

Pictures taken in Canada and the States either side of an Ian Allan tour of South America.

Starting in Toronto, visits were also made to Markham, Oshawa and Downsview, before heading down to Miami to join the Ian Allan group.

Then on return from South America, the group spent a day in Florida to visit Tamiami, Opa Locka, Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale Exec.

Heading back to Canada, more time was then spent at Toronto, before driving across to Detroit for a day trip to Willow Run. Returning to the Toronto area, Hamilton and Brantford were also visited before heading home. Big trip!

(N836D) DC-7B (45345) Historical Flight Foundation Inc. Being restored into vintage Eastern Airways colours, with re-paint recently completed. Was grounded in 1972 at St. Paul, before restoration to flying condition on 7/8/04 and arriving here the following day via Atlanta-Peachtree.
